The weather was absolutely perfect for an elopement—soft, moody clouds stretched across the sky, diffusing the sunlight just enough to create a dreamy, romantic glow. No harsh shadows, no unbearable heat—just a light ocean breeze and the peaceful ambiance of the city below. It was one of those rare Florida days where everything aligned beautifully.
Turning an Airbnb into the Perfect Rooftop Ceremony
When my couple first told me about their vision, I was immediately excited. They had rented a stunning Airbnb in the heart of Las Olas, complete with a private rooftop terrace. Instead of a traditional venue, they transformed this hidden gem into an intimate wedding space. A simple yet elegant floral arch framed the ceremony space, complementing the modern architecture of the rooftop. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows in front of their closest friends and family. They shared a shot of homemade limoncello made by the bride herself.
