Nicole + Eddie's Courthouse Elopement in Downtown Stuart
This couple ended up having their wedding at the Stuart Courthouse in October of 2020. It was a rainy day but it stopped raining just in time for us to get together for photos and ceremony! The Downtown Stuart Courthouse has a very simple and sweet ceremony gazebo. And is conveniently positioned right next door to Memorial Park. We met up at the park for a first look and some portraits and then made out way to the ceremony. We wrapped up with some couples portraits around the downtown of Stuart.
Nicole and Eddie opted in for a First Look before the ceremony. This park had a beautiful bridge, perfect for this moment. His reaction was just the sweetest. Nicole told me later on that she almost opted to wear a simple white dress instead of her actual wedding gown. I think Eddie was excited she stuck with her original dress!
As we walked back from the First Look, I snapped some moments between the two of them in the gorgeous park. They were both so cute together!
By then all the family had arrived and were ready for the couple. I photographed them by this stunning tree and lake with a fountain.
The Stuart Courthouse has a quaint and cute ceremony gazebo for elopements like this. I got a few shots of the rings and we headed to the I Do's! Nicole's father walked her up to Eddie where they exchanged their vows. They had their Maid of Honor and Best Man sign as witnesses and they were married!
The family headed to a local restaurant for cocktail hour. Eddie, Nicole, and I headed to Stuart's small town downtown for their formal photos. First stop was at a family owned Italian restaurant call Pepe e Sale directly across the street from the courthouse. We stopped for some celebratory champagne and then headed out!
