Amanda + Austin's Jupiter Lighthouse Wedding | Jupiter, FL

A timeless wedding at a historic building.

Amanda and Austin's wedding was one for the books. Amanda and I started as work acquaintances. She helped run a women-owned business networking group and I would help photograph the events. Over the almost two years, we became friends and there was no question she wanted me to photograph their wedding. And I was honored to be there for a friend.

Getting Ready

We started the day at the Wyndham Grand Jupiter At Harbourside Place. Hair and make up was done by the talented Glamour To Go Hair and Makeup.

The details in this wedding were just so sentimental. The engagement ring was a family heirloom and was Austin's grandmother's. The veil Amanda wore was her mother's veil when she got married. I'm a sucker for all things nostalgic, so this was so important to document.

Amanda decided to have a first look with her dad. It was such a sweet moment. I couldn't help but tear up behind the camera! She surprised him with a little gift as well, how cute!

Meanwhile, the groomsmen were getting ready and having all the laughs!

The First Touch

Amanda wanted to keep the big reveal for the ceremony, but she did want to have a moment with Austin beforehand. So we set them up under the historic Jupiter Lighthouse. What a view it was!

A Ceremony under twinkle lights

The seating on a raised wooden deck under a gorgeous banyan tree makes for the perfect ceremony setting!

A reception, with a twist.

Reception to follow was at the Twisted Tuna in Jupiter! The details were just amazing. They had it all from amazing food to the coolest party favor ever - live painting by Maya Christine Art! Amazing cake was made by Jorie with Jorie Cakes! Scroll through to see all the details!

Then Amanda and Austin ended the night with a private dance followed by a faux sparkler exit.
